Wedding Stationery Tips-Wedding Invitation Tips And Etiquette For Addressing Invitations - Part I

By Nily Glaser The staff of A-wedding Day is often asked for specific tips and etiquettes regarding invitations and wedding stationery. Many of our visitors found the following article very helpful. WEDDING STATIONERY TIPS: Announce your wedding! Send out Save-the-Date cards. These cards provide you with the perfect way to let your friends and family know about your upcoming wedding. Send the Save-the-Date cards as soon as you’ve set and secured your wedding date, so they will mark your special date on their calendars. Save time! As you print your return address on your invitations and response cards, print it on the flaps of your Thank You note envelopes and the envelopes of all stationery you wish to use. WEDDING INVITATIONS TIPS: The invitations you send, not only inform your guests of the date, time, location and hosts of the wedding, but set the tone for your entire celebration. Order a large supply of Folding Note Cards. Folding Note Cards are very versatile. Use them for RSVP respond cards, reception announcements, tented place cards, thank you notes, gift enclosures, or for other correspondence long after the wedding. Always purchase note card kits thay include mailing envelopes. Your wedding invitation may include the time and location of the reception, or you may insert reception cards with the information and map printed on them to inform your guests of the location of the wedding reception and or dance. Since reception cards are enclosed with your invitation, you may, but you do not need to place them in their own envelopes. If you plan to send reception cards, use the same folding card as your response card. Send each in the same envelope as you do the invitation and response card. Mail invitations at least six weeks before the wedding. Before you stamp the envelopes, have your invitations weighed at the post office to determine the proper postage. If you have children involve them in the excitement of preparing for the wedding. Depending on their abilities, you may have them address the invitations and - or stamp them. ETIQUETTE FOR ADDRESSING WEDDING INVITATIONS: With the escalating costs of dream weddings, the use of only an outer envelope has become the norm. The use of an inner envelope is no longer required for most but Black Tie and formal affairs. Saving the cost of inner envelopes and possibly postage, can be quite helpful with the wedding budget. Whether pre-printed or home printed, invitations have to be mailed. Each invitation should be either hand addressed, or if computer generated, have special calligraphy like fonts. Do not let your guests guess. Be very specific when addressing the invitations. The recipients should know exactly who is invited and if anyone is not (children for example). If you thought that it is simple, think again. Before setting for the task, make sure that you will not encounter any surprises at the wedding. Yes, compiling the guest list and staying within your wedding budget is one of the most difficult tasks at hand. Yet, your wedding is the happiest day of your life and you want your guest to share in your happiness rather than harbor bad feelings. Take into consideration guests children. Be sure not to alienate singles for whom it is important to bring a significant other or a guest. So, if Joe has a steady girlfriend invite her too. Well, your list is complete (or so you think), the invitations are printed and you are ready to address the outer and if you have, inner envelopes. The envelopes are the first thing your guests see. Show them that they are important to you. Pay attention to details and your guests will know that you really care about them. Is It Possible to Refinance Your Bad Credit Car Loan?

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Mary_Wise]Mary Wise Car Loan Refinance There are however, ways of getting rid of this heavy burden, even if you still have a bad credit score or history. One of these ways, probably the best one, is to refinance your Car Loan. By refinancing you will get approved for a loan that you will use to pay off the outstanding loan sooner. And since the new loan will come with a more reasonable interest rate and fees, you will save thousands of dollars just by pursuing this simple financial transaction. The most common reason why people need to refinance is their inability to repay the loan because they cant meet the extremely high monthly payments. One may wonder why they accepted those loan terms. The answer is simple: Car dealers’ and vendors’ dishonest behavior tend to convince buyers to sign contracts they cannot commit to. They hide fees and lie about the true interest rate that will be charged for the loan. This added to the desperate situation most people with bad credit go through, ends up with the signing of a loan contract that becomes unbearable. Loan Repayment Programs tailored to your needs To make things simple you need to tell your refinance loan lender exactly how much money you are able and willing to destine to your car loan monthly payments. As long as you keep this amount at a reasonable level, you wont have problems repaying your loan. A reasonable level is an amount between 20% and 40% of the remaining of your income after youve deducted all of your expenses. In other words, you should only commit to monthly installments up to 40% of your money saving power. The lender will schedule your monthly payments with this information and according to this; he will determine the loan length, interest rate and amount of the monthly installments. Reduced Interest Rate When [http://www.badcreditloanservices.com/bad-credit-car-loans.html]refinancing your car loan, youll be able to reduce your monthly payments by extending the length of the loan or simply because the interest rate youll pay will drop. The interest rate will be reduced even if you have a bad credit score. Since there are a lot more car loan lenders available and market conditions have improved, the competition has reduced the interest rates for car loans significantly. If you take the time to compare different offers you may get an interest rate 3 or 4 points lower than the one youre currently paying. The secret for getting a good deal is not to accept the first offer you are presented. You can request loan quotes from many lenders and after comparing them you can even contact the lenders again and ask them if they can improve their offer showing them the best offer you received from another lender. Theyll probably drop the interest rate a bit more and then you can close on a great deal. Dont be afraid to fight it, they will be making money with the loan anyway so they might as well struggle a bit to get you. How Are Your Kidneys - The Eight Ways Your Weak Kidneys Could Be Ruining Your Health

By Roslyn Motter How are your kidneys? Fine, you might reply. However, is this the real situation? In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) there is a view point that the kidneys are the root of Qi. They store the pre natal Qi (our genetic heritage) and the post natal Qi (derived from the food we eat and the air we breathe). The function of the kidneys is very highly regarded in TCM. A dysfunction in the kidneys and their channels can cause a multitude of problems throughout the body. The kidneys produce the bone marrow. The brain is composed of marrow, so problems with the brain could be linked back to kidney dysfunction. The kidneys control the bones. Arthritis can be treated via the kidneys. The kidneys govern water by transforming and transporting fluids throughout the body.Frequent urination, excessive fluid, swollen limbs, urgency and diarrhoea can be traced back to kidney weakness. The kidneys control birth, growth, development and human reproduction. Kidney weakness is a big factor in infertility or underdevelopment. Also, having children weakens the kidneys, as does ejaculation in men. Excessive ejaculation diminishes the kidney essence. Problems with premature ejaculation and male and female infertility would involve kidney treatments. The kidneys control the two lower orifices the anus and the urethra. Urinary leakage, incontinence, nocturnal emissions and prolapse of the anus can be caused by weak kidneys. The kidneys house will power. If you have weak kidneys your will power and determination will suffer. The kidneys open up into the ears. Tinnitus, hearing and ear problems are often the result of poor kidneys. The health of the kidneys can be seen through the health of the hair. Kidney energy makes the hair thrive. However, the hair is dispensable. If the kidneys are weak they must first provide essence to the other major organs. If there is no essence left, then the hair misses out. This is why hair falls out when people undergo chemotherapy. The kidney is under assault from the toxic chemicals in the chemotherapy and the first thing it releases is the hair. If you have a problem with your kidneys you may be having dreams about water. If you have been having dreams about shipwrecks or drowning, then consider your kidney health. The kidneys have a special relationship with the heart and lungs so weakness of the kidneys is often reflected in reciprocal weaknesses in these organs. You might not realize that asthma is attributed to kidney weakness. The kidney weaknesses I have been discussing are not necessarily able to be picked up by medical tests. The weaknesses are often in the kidney channels. The emotion that affects the kidney is fear. If you have suffered from excessive fear in your life then there is a big possibility that your kidneys have been weakened. When you are really scared you can feel pain in your kidneys. You could also urinate more frequently. Stress has an impact on the kidneys too. The adrenal glands sit right above the kidneys and when you are under stress they produce adrenaline. Adrenaline is a toxic chemical which needs to be dispersed by a fight or flight situation. However, if we just sit still, then the adrenaline remains in our bodies and will damage internal organs, the first being the kidneys. The kidneys resonate with the color black. Try to eat black sesame seeds, black wood ear fungus, black mushrooms and black pasta that has been colored with squid ink. Asian supermarkets stock plenty of naturally black foods. One food that might not take your fancy but which is extremely beneficial to the kidneys is Sea Slug. Black in color, Sea Slug is available in the frozen food section of Chinese supermarkets. It will definitely benefit kidney yang and I have heard amazing stories about how it has brought about cures in people with huge health issues. Just eating a little each day would be adequate.Kidneys are also tonified by eating beans as, under the doctrine of signatures, beans are shaped like kidneys. If you eat black beans you will be doubly blessed! Eating kidney meat is also beneficial for the kidneys (under the rule of like cures like).Walnuts are shaped like brains and they are excellent for brain health. Also, acupuncture is a wonderful therapy for strengthening the kidneys. Good luck in bringing your kidneys back to optimal health. Roslyn J. Motter is a Sydney, Australia registered acupuncturist with her own clinic. She is also a childrens author and has recently published three childrens books - The Doofuzz Dudes Rescue Moondar; The Doofuzz Dudes and the Princess Detector; and the Doofuzz Dudes and the Babbling Bottles. Apple - Useful In Combating Diarrhea

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Gerald_Crawford] Gerald Crawford Apple information and how it is used as a herb in alternative herbal treatments to treat ailments and problems such as stomach cramps, cancer and diabetes. Although we believe in the therapeutic and healing properties of herbs, care must be taken in the use thereof, as they are powerful compounds. Botanical Classification: Family Rosaceae Genus and specie: Malus sylvestris or Pyrus malus. Description of the herb apple: This commonplace tree can grow up to 40 feet high and more than 300 varieties are found. Parts used: The fruits and leaves are used. Properties: The fruit varies and taste and texture range from crisp to mealy and can be sweet or sour, depending on the variety. The fruits have great anti-diarrhea and laxative properties, and although it sounds like a contradiction, both of these conditions can be helped with apples. Therapeutic uses: Internal use: The pectin in apples is transformed into a soothing coating for the intestines by intestinal bacteria, which eases stomach cramps. Pectin adds bulk to stools and is useful in combating diarrhea. A study that appeared in the “Journal of the National Cancer Institute” hints that pectin may stop cancer spreading through the body, and that pectin binds certain carcinogenic compounds in the colon, speeding their elimination from the body. A study published in the “Annals of Internal Medicine” showed that apple pectin helps to reduce blood sugar levels in diabetics. Apple pectin reportedly helps retain cholesterol in the stomach, binding cholesterol to itself and carrying it through the digestive tract to be eliminated and is also reported to help the body rid itself of . lead . mercury . and other heavy metals prevalent in modern water, food, and air. External use: Apple leaves contain phloretin, which is a natural antibiotic. Crushed clean apple leaves may be applied to minor wounds and scratches as a temporary treatment until the wounds can be cleaned and bandaged. Aromatherapy and essential oil use: None noted. Safety precautions and warnings: An apple seed contains a high level of cyanide - so much so that ingesting massive amounts of apple seeds can be fatal, and it is not advisable to eat great amounts of apple seeds. People with weak stomachs, prone to diarrhea or constipation must eat apples in moderation, as it can precipitate either of the conditions in susceptible individuals. Large amounts of apple pectin could delay the absorption of most drugs if taken at the same time. Do Words We Use Really Matter

By Tim Connor I was thinking the other day (No cracks from my friends please.) about the subtle differences between words that are commonly used, sometimes not used or mis-used. Let me give you an example. Im sorry. This simple two word sentence can be interpreted so many ways and have so many different meanings for both the person who speaks them and the person who they are directed toward. - I forget your birthday so I say Im sorry. - I am late for lunch and I say Im sorry. - I say something out of anger when I dont mean it, so I say, Im sorry. - I dont return your call and I say Im sorry. - You are a sorry person. - I am sorry you are going through this difficulty. The word sorry has two separate meanings; Apologetic: feeling or expressing regret for an action that has upset or inconvenienced somebody, or is likely to do so. Sympathetic: feeling or expressing sympathy or empathy, especially because of something that has happened, I felt sorry it had to end that way. Don’t start feeling sorry for yourself. The words, Im sorry, when used too frequently or too easily can tend to lessen their emotional value as a verbal gesture toward someone else. Theres another way to consider these simple two words. Ever had anyone in your life who never said or didnt have the capacity to ever say they were sorry for anything even though their actions or words certainly warranted this phrase? I have and I can tell you Id rather hear Im sorry too often then not at all. However, often people feel that they need to apologize or say Im sorry for things that dont require these words. In effect many of these people for whatever reason feel that they need to say Im sorry not for the act but for themselves. Lets say I say something stupid (trust me I do that a lot) out of ignorance rather than arrogance or malice. It was just a dumb comment. Does it deserve an Im sorry or a simple apology I didnt mean it the way it sounded or Im just upset and I apologize? My reason or need to say these words, Im sorry or I apologize will depend on both my self-esteem, your emotional reaction to the dumb thing I said and the circumstances under which they were spoken. Heres the point. In relationships sooner or later we all say and do dumb things not out of meanness, but because of stress, frustration, anxiety, fear or any number of other emotions or circumstances or situations. If your partner knows that there was no hurt intended and you have an emotionally stable relationship is Im sorry necessary every time you do or say something really stupid or hurtful? It depends again on what you were sorry for and your real intent behind what you said or did. Socially it can become a real pain in the butt. I play tennis and I can tell you when I play with someone I dont want to have to say Im sorry every time I hit a bad shot. So I have a rule. I say Im sorry one time to my partner at the beginning of the match and then I never say it again. Most people laugh when I give them my rule. Im not suggesting this strategy in your relationships, but you might want to develop some similar tactics or rules regarding this issue so you can avoid any negative outcomes either for its over use or under use. Where Do You Spend Your Prime Time?

By Beth Young We see and hear it every day, “Prime Time News, Prime Time Radio, Prime Time Sports, Prime Time TV. So where do you spend your “Prime Time”? Watching CSI, 24, The Unit, American Idol, Lost, Prison Break or any other prime time show? Although these are intriguing shows that keep us captivated and entertained, is it the best use of our prime time? Problem 1 - Is Your Life Governed By Your Calendar? Maybe you’re not a big TV fan, you spend you time watching or participating in organized sports. Or chauffeuring children to organized sports. We are a busy society, and are often governed by our calendar. We pack so much into each day, that we may not have time left for the things that really matter the most. Solution 1 - Ensure That Prime Relationships Get More Prime Time Neal Maxwell made the following challenge, “Parents and grandparents, please scrutinize your schedules and priorities in order to ensure that lifes prime relationships get more prime time!” Think about it, we’ll put on our schedule to attend a PTA or a Scout Committee meeting, but when do we schedule time to take a child to the park and talk, or go to dinner alone with our spouse? I’ve discovered that those who are organized, dependable and willing to serve, get many more invitations to “help out” than less conscientious people. Yet, it’s the conscientious ones that probably care the most about their loved ones. So how did we fall into the trap of giving our prime time and “prime-self” to our non-prime relationships? The Challenge - Will You Re-evaluate The Use Of Your Time? I’d like to challenge you to honestly take a look at all the many things you do each day, each week and each month. Certainly they should include service in your community, schools, Church or neighborhood. However, it shouldn’t dominate your calendar to the point that your prime relationships take the back seat. Do not be fooled into thinking that going to a soccer game or practice is truly giving of your prime-self to your child. Watching TV with your family would not qualify as prime time either. If you aren’t directly interacting with your family, it’s not prime time. The Sacrifice - Will You Spend Less Time In Outside Activities? Our challenge is to honestly look at the way we are spending our life and really determine if we are doing the things that will strengthen our most important family relationships. We may discover that we need to balance our time to include our family more and spend less time in other activities. It can be done, but it requires an honest evaluation of where we spend our time. Are you willing to give up or diminish the amount of time you spend in just one outside activity? For example, my time used to be spent in the following order: PTA President, President of a Youth Organization at my Church, and mother of 5 children. My time is now spent as a mother of 5, the President of our Women’s organization at Church, and the Inclusive Chair on PTA. Although the motto of the PTA is “Every Child, One Voice”, I realized my children didn’t have much of a voice and I diminished by PTA duties so I could focus more on the prime relationships in my family. I’m still busy in things of value, but I’ve changed the order and amount of time I spend in them, so that my family receives more of my prime time. Will You Look Back And Smile? When we are in the autumn of our life, it’s my hope that we can look back to our prime relationships and say that we truly gave them our prime time. Why Secured Loans Are The Best Choice!

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Kate_Ross]Kate Ross With secured loans you reduce the risk involved for the lender in the financial transaction and thus, youll be able to obtain a significantly lower interest rate. With secured loans, youll also get lower monthly payments and more chances of getting approved than if you applied for unsecured loans. Reducing Risk With Collateral Given that an asset is guaranteeing the loan repayment program, the applicants credit score is not such a big deal when it comes to loan approval. The risk that bad credit implies is compensated by the collateral which in turn provides many benefits. The lenders money is protected by the security and thus, the risk of default is reduced. When a property is used as collateral, the lender knows he will recover his money one way or another. In the event of default, a lender has a legal right to repossess the asset so as to claim his money by selling it. This legal action of repossession reassures the lender as regards to loan repayment and has also positive consequences for the borrower. Lowering Loans Interest Rate As stated above, the risk of the financial transaction is reduced by the lenders possibility of repossessing the collateral. Consequently, since there is a lower risk, the interest rate is reduced too. Secured loans provide probably the lowest interest rate on the loan market and also higher loan amounts than unsecured loans. The interest rate charged for secured loans is lower than pay day loans, cash advance loans and those of credit cards. It is also lower than the interest rate charged for regular unsecured loans and probably lower than any other financial product with the exception of subsidized student and business loans and specific types of home loans. Lowering Loans Monthly Payments There are mainly two reasons why the monthly payments of secured loans are significantly lower than the installments of equivalent unsecured loans. The monthly payments of secured loans can be lower due to having (as stated above) lower interest rates than unsecured loans. A lower accumulation of interests implies lower monthly payments. However, loan installments can also be reduced due to longer repayment programs. Secured loans offer significantly longer repayment schedules than unsecured loans. Thus, by dividing the capital in several more parts, the amount of the monthly payments is greatly reduced. Note however, that longer repayment programs do imply higher interest rates. Guaranteeing Approval Finally, the lower risk implied in secured loans when comparing them to unsecured loans, also provides less harsh loan requirements. Thus, qualifying for [http://www.badcreditloanservices.com]secured loans is a lot easier as there are not so many credit and income requirements. Getting approved for secured loans with bad credit is perfectly feasible and approval comes fast and free from hassles.
